According to Thailand Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, a musician performing at the bar recounted observing smoke emanating from a circuit breaker situated near the stage just before a power outage. Lee Young Ju, a fire safety professor at South Korea's Kyungil University, offered an expert perspective on the potential origins of the fire. Professor Ju suggested that an electrical fault, possibly linked to the bar's audio or lighting equipment or faulty wiring, could have ignited the initial blaze. Such an electrical ignition could have quickly spread across the ceiling, leading to the rapid engulfment of the premises.
